About Grove City Christian School's PTO
PTO Stands for Parent-Teacher Organization. The PTO consists of parents and teachers working better together to support and enrich all students at Grove City Christian School. We support school staff, help feed the passion in our teachers, and assist efforts to solve school needs through volunteers and funding. All parents of GCCS students are encouraged to participate in PTO activities whenever possible, even if you are unable to attend our meetings.
We are a PTO for all children, staff, and teachers from Discovery Kindergarten through 12th Grade. You choose how much or how little you want to be a part of your PTO... All help is appreciated!
Teacher Wish Lists
Want to bless your teacher(s) for Christmas, but not sure how? The Teacher Wish List includes their birthday, information about themselves and their families, what they like....and don't like!, and items they need for their classroom! Don't see your teacher or fave staff member listed??? Bug them to get their information to the PTO!
Donuts with Dad & Muffins with Mom
Special time for parents and children before school to share a book together, enjoy fellowship, or just simply hang out and eat!
Birthday Book Club
Celebrate your child's birthday with the library!
- Purchase a new book to gift to the library
- Have your child's picture taken with the book and displayed in the library
- Be the first person to check the book out
- Have your child's name permanently inscribed within the book
Letting Our Teachers Know
PTO recognizes the contributions of our teachers and staff in several ways:
- Classroom grants
- Volunteering in the classroom
- Birthday recognition
- Cookie trays
- Pick me up gifts
- Luncheons and dinners
We are always looking for help. There are many things you can help with, such as:
- Baking special treats
- Cooking or serving during special lunches
- Box-Top clipping
- Volunteering for 2 hours over the course of the school year
